Queenscliff

Upcoming Queenscliff Development

In partnership with Landcom, Link Wentworth is developing diverse and affordable housing at Queenscliff to meet the needs of the Northern Beaches community.

Estimated Completion Date: 2026

Formerly home to the Queenscliff Community Health Centre, the site has been at the heart of the local community for more than 40 years. The project will deliver 37 units over in 3 storey  development that builds on the legacy of this conveniently located site.

The Queenscliff project addresses the need for more affordable housing in a variety of ways, including:

  • adaptive re-use of the current building to enhance sustainability and retain heritage value
  • providing homes for women at risk of homelessness and seniors over 55
  • providing a diverse range of homes integrate into the local neighbourhood and build on its character.

Affordable housing

Diverse housing makes neighbourhoods more affordable and accessible to a wider range of people.

The development will be dedicated as 100% Affordable Rental Homes, targeted for women over 55 and at risk of homelessness.

The Queenscliff project provides:

  • 27 x studio apartments
  • 8 x one-bedroom apartments
  • 2 x two-bedroom apartments

If you’d like to know more about our approach to delivering more affordable and diverse homes, view our Housing Policy Brochure.

Adaptive re-use of the building will:

  • celebrate its architectural significance
  • reduce the environmental impacts of construction
  • reduce cost of living for residents
  • reduce ongoing building management costs.

Retaining the distinct character of the site and the surrounding amenities has been central to the design process.
