Designed by Custance Associates, the proposed development includes three two-storey buildings, which blend into the existing residential character of the street of Pennant Hills. Consisting of 10 units comprising of 6x – 1-bedroom units, and 4x – 2 bedroom units.
Development Approval was received from Hornsby Shire Council in late 2024. Construction commenced on site in late 2025, with an expected move-in date of early 2027. All timings are indicative and subject to approvals and weather.
The project is gas free, fully electrical and has provision for solar panels on the roof to save on energy costs.
The design maximises natural ventilation and provides ceiling fans to all living rooms and bedrooms. To further reduce energy consumption the development will implement energy-efficient fixtures, a electric heat pump hot water systems and high-star rating appliances.
The landscape design proposes to incorporate indigenous and low-water-use plant species.
