Link Wentworth employee and CHIA NSW cadet Tionnie has been named as a finalist for the NSW Vocational Student of the Year award.
As per the website, “The NSW Vocational Student of the Year Award recognises an outstanding student’s achievement in a course of study leading to a nationally recognised qualification and demonstrates the relevance of lifelong learning.”
Tionnie was placed at Link Wentworth as part of the CHIA NSW Cadetship Program, which sees successful applicants complete a Certificate IV in Housing at TAFE along with on-the-job experience over the course of one year.
Shortly into her time with us, it was clear Tionnie embodied the company values and had a passion for the sector. She was offered full-time employment with Link Wentworth and remains with the business as she completes her qualification.
We’re so proud of Tionnie for being formally recognised for her achievements as a student and employee. Not only has she excelled in her role, Tionnie has been a great advocate for the program and actively encourages others in her position to get started in the community housing sector.
