The Granny Smith Festival 2022
Link Wentworth is proud to be sponsoring the Granny Smith Festival again this year as a silver sponsor. We have participated in the festival for many years and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and we encourage everyone in the community to join us and be a part of the celebration.
The annual festival celebrates the life of Maria Ann ‘Granny’ Smith who, in 1968, ‘accidentally’ grew the batch of green apples that bear her name. Attracting over 90,000 people, the event is now one of Sydney’s largest festivals and offers a huge range of activities to enjoy, including:
- Granny’s Cider Bar
- Youth Zone and Creative Kids Hub
- Fireworks
- Live Music
- Food and Drinks
The Link Wentworth team will be at stall #14 on Rowe street (apparently the best place to watch the parade), where you can find out more about our services, grab a free Link Wentowrth bag. Watch the rest of the Link Wentworth crew join thousands of other community members in the parade.
