Link Wentworth and Inner Sydney Voice are hosting Disaster Resilience Workshops

Following the recent flooding and other weather events that impacted the Hawkesbury community, we want to make sure our residents are well prepared for any future natural disasters.

We have partnered with an experienced agency Inner Sydney Voice to launch a Disaster Resilience Project. The project aims to provide education, awareness and resources around natural disasters, and will be run in close collaboration with residents. It will also take learnings from previous projects that focused on flooding.

Join us at one of the following sessions:

  • Hawkesbury Leisure and Learning Centre, 114 March St, Richmond

Thursday 30 March, 10.30am-1.30pm

  • Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George St, Windsor

Tuesday 4 April, 10.30am-1.30pm

Residents will be encouraged to lead conversations at the workshops. Morning tea and lunch will be provided, and transport to the venue is also available.

Please email communities@linkwentworth.org.au or call 02 4777 8000 to express your interest.
