Scholarship Categories

There are 4 scholarship categories. Here is a brief overview of each category. Read each carefully before selecting the scholarship you wish to apply for. You may only apply for one Scholarship category.

Primary and High School - Kindergarten to Year 12 students (up to $750): this category supports school aged students by providing funds towards Outside-of-school (OOF) activities such as sports, dance, music, visual arts or swimming lessons. Funding may also be used for sports uniforms and equipment required to undertake OOF activities, school fees and study materials including textbooks, workbooks and study guides, tutoring and driving lessons, as well as excursions and extracurricular fees.
Tertiary Education - Adult Learners enrolled in a course at University, TAFE (Cert III or higher), a registered training organisation (RTO) or accredited institution (up to $1,500): this category supports applicants by providing funds towards course fees and essential equipment required to complete the enrolled course, including textbooks, workbooks, study guides, uniforms essential to the course such as nursing uniforms or safety shoes, and tutoring.
Professional Development & Lifelong Learning - Adults and mature learners enrolled in a course with an accredited institution or registered training organisation (RTO) (up to $750): this category supports employment-related skill development such as driving lessons, short courses and qualifications, as well as employment-related essential equipment including safety shoes or white cards. Funding may also be used for fees associated with short courses including arts, crafts and language classes, educational or skill-building clubs and special interest groups such as motor vehicle clubs, recreation and art societies, and resources for study relating to short courses including textbooks, art supplies and dance shoes.
Digital Device - Tenants and approved household members enrolled in education who require a device for study (up to $750): this category provides funds for a device including a laptop, tablet or desktop computer to support study and learning activities.

- Proof of enrollment: acceptance letter, enrollment email or student enrollment documents.
- Proof of fees: invoice, HECS schedule, course fees schedule, student fees statement, or an email/letter quote with fees.
Membership Fees
Two documents required:
- Proof of membership: enrollment confirmation, email, or club/tutoring/activity membership letter or email.
- Proof of fees: membership fee schedule, quote for club/tutoring/activity, or email with fee schedule.
Course Materials
Two documents required:
- Materials list.
- Quote or itemised cost of materials.
Digital Device
Two documents required:
- Proof of enrollment and study-related fees, as outlined under ‘Course Fees’.
- Quote or invoice for the digital device.
