Our Community Programs Team is proud to launch two programs for Link Wentworth residents from diverse backgrounds: Information Sessions where staff and local services will provide information and support, and informal English classes that can help tenants with everyday conversations.

Translated communications will be sent to tenants and interpreters will be present at each program. Please read on for more details of each program.

English Classes

Join English classes that can help you with everyday conversations. The class will be informal, and interpreters will be present.

Location: Common Room at 12 Higginbotham Road, Gladesville

Time: 11:00 am – 1:30 pm

Dates: Classes will be held each Tuesday and Wednesday starting on the 1st of December and ending on the 23rd of December 2021.

Information Sessions

These sessions will be a great way to meet Link Wentworth staff and discuss any issues you might have as a tenant. You can also talk to local community services who can help you complete documents, access transport to shopping or appointments, look after your wellbeing and join social groups.

The sessions will be held 11:00 am – 1:30 pm on the following days:

Monday 6th December – Common Room at 12 Higginbotham Road, Gladesville

Wednesday 8th December – Common Room at 291 Blaxland Road, Ryde

Tuesday 14th December – Common Room at 41-43 Myra Street, Wahroonga

Free transport to the Information Sessions and English Classes is available and a free lunch will also be provided. You need to be double vaccinated to attend. If you are feeling unwell on the day, please do not attend.

To make the meetings COVID-Safe, please confirm that you are coming by calling 9412 5111 or emailing communityengagement@linkwentworth.org.au.
