From Monday 21 August to Monday 11 September, Link Wentworth will be running our Adult Learners Festival. With topics as diverse Tai Chi for beginners, computer basics and learner road rules, there should be something for everyone to enjoy.
These courses have been developed in partnership with Nepean and Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Community Colleges and are provided to Link Wentworth residents absolutely free.

Do you want to get your licence but don’t know where to start? Join us for lunch and a road rules study session.
Enjoy this ancient Chinese art form, consisting of exercises with gentle movements designed to build inner harmony, balance and flexibility. It has been recognised for its many health benefits such as decreasing stress and helping those who suffer from arthritis. With practice, it can be an effective aid to good posture, health and wellbeing.

No previous experience necessary, this is a Beginners class.

Air dry clay is a great clay for you to create your own decorative pieces without the use of a kiln. Sayo will teach you easy clay forming techniques such as slab, pinch pot and coil. All important hand building techniques that you will use to create your own unique pieces.
Week 1 – Hand build a shape – learn pottery techniques to create your desirable shape (your pieces will need several days to dry and be ready to paint in week 2).
